First things first; a congratulations to all who participated in season 6. This past season saw a slew of rookie combatants battling for the top spot in the hall of valor. Only 5 could make it, however, and so without further ado...

MatthewCrimson: Matthew took an early lead in the season and never looked back. After taking down 4 tournaments and breaking the point record for a single season, it was clear who deserved the number 1 spot.

RPSrox: This valiant rookie fought hard and was one of the most determined players of the season. He reached the finals of numerous tournaments but kept falling just short. As of the end of season 6, he is 2nd in most points in a single season.

SaxySam87: Sam is the only veteran player in this season’s hall of valor. Having been a part of Super Challenge since season 1, Sam had gone on quite a sabbatical. Previously, his best accomplishment was a 15th place finish in season 1. With a 3rd place finish this season, as well as 3 tournament wins, Sam had what was easily his best season.

KimbotheBimbo: The only female to make this season’s hall of valor, Kimbo got off to a slow start, but vastly improved on her game throughout the season. Through shear determination and will-power, she battled through numerous warriors, and fought hard to retain a spot in the hall of valor.

UhcamUceputac: As of this writing, Uhcam is no longer a part of Super Challenge. He fell down the ranks after being caught in a cheating scandal and leaving Super Challenge. Prior to that though, he won a tournament and held the #2 spot for quite some time.

With season 7 underway, various tournaments are popping up left and right. A new tournament archive is in the works that should list all of the prior tournaments in the site’s 7 season run. Because of this, it seems only fitting to come up with some kind of "hall of valor" for tournaments. How, you may ask? A new point system has been created (although not officially part of the site as of yet). Once the tournament archive is in place, you will be able to see how many tournament points a player has earned. The point system is based off of how many players entered a tournament. For example: If you won a 16 player tournament, you would receive 16 tournament points. Winning an 8 player tournament would give you 8 points. You only receive tournament points for winning a tournament. Also, tournament points are not to be confused with your RPS Score points for the season. This could be a long time down the road, but if there’s interest, this can certainly be done. Send your votes to the Commisioner at by clicking here. Let us know what you think.

And lastly, with the fierce competition towards the end of season 6, several determined players ran out of open challenges. New open challenges come periodically, but in order to stay competitive, AND to win more points, players are reminded of live challenges. Live challenges are quite simple to set up, especially through an instant messenger. MatthewCrimson and KimbotheBimbo are almost always up for live matches on AOL instant messenger, as are numerous other top-ranked players. Finally, remember to create new tournaments and join existing tournaments to keep the tournament circuit competitive.

Here’s looking to a thrilling season 7!

Results
Season III was a rock paper scissors battle of biblical proportions. It will be remembered by the tournaments, and the new faces from around the globe testing their metal in the global arena. Sternin Sucks joined the ranks of the mighty Shigeki-San and Madcow with a score of 3481 and a seat in rock paper scissors history in the RPS Super Challenge.com Hall of Valor. Here is how Season III finished up.

Sternin Sucks made the right choices at the right time and was the Season III Grand Champion. With some key tournament victories and an overall win percentage of 57% Sternin brought it for Season III. In the most heated finish of RPS Super Challenge.com history Sternin held on to a mere 17 points and finished at the top.

Finishing the season at number II is Jerkstore. Also known as the RPS Super Challenge regulator the jerkstore chose wisely and distinguished himself in the number two spot.

Finishing at number three in the third season was Rockefeller. With a solid win percentage of 59% it looks like Rockefeller had the skills, but needed to focus on wining the right matches. He will be a force to be reckoned with in Season IV.

The mighty Madcow finished up his Season II domination with a strong showing in Season III. He won some key matches throughout the Season to stay on top.

Coming in at number five was rockmeng f u up, his vulgar username and irrational style of RPS allowed him to separate himself and stay at the top.

News:

Tournaments for prizes!!! You are correct, time to get a little nuts on RPS Super Challenge.com. This Season you will see special tournaments for prizes. Be sure to keep your profile up to date so we know how to get in touch with the winners.

Season III is getting pretty nuts. There is a new regime established in the world of online Rock Paper Scissors. Players are establishing themselves as household names at the top. Here is how we stand:

Madcow back in the top seat. Getting it done this season and proving that his Season II victory was no fluke. Go Madcow go!

Irock rockin and rollin his way to the top. In a week he has charged to the number two spot. What’s next?

Stadler, impressive display of verbal jousting and RPS domination. He is a master of global thermonuclear tic tac toe and of global RPS destruction.

Jerkstore and the frog gang bringin it to the top again. Who is the frog gang? Are they in a global feud with team bonqiua? Only time will tell….

Sternin Sucks beasting the world online RPS scene and charging into the top five. He has had some key victories in the last week staking his claim in the winners circle.

News:

Presentation time has come. Shigeki will soon reap the rewards of his Season I victory. Forged in fire and brimstone our team of artists , masons, and blacksmiths has crafted the Inagural Season trophy. Stay tuned for the full story of the awards presentation.

We got some fan mail from a warrior who has “The Rock” tattooed on his forearm. Dedication, domination, and destruction. That’s what we like to see… Check the last post on the blog to read more.

Season III is like a water balloon toss between a bunch of people with soapy hands. Anything is possible, anyone can be a champion at this point. Keep up the great RPS , keep up the motivation, and keep your eyes on the prize. Have a great week warriors.

June 7, 2006: 1:06 PM EDT
NEW YORK (FORTUNE) - Faced with the inability of two bickering attorneys to resolve even the most innocuous scheduling questions without his intervention, a Florida federal judge yesterday ordered the two to meet on the steps of the federal courthouse and resolve their latest quarrel by playing "one (1) game of ’rock, paper, scissors.’ " (Read the ruling.)
Judge Gregory A. Presnell of Orlando ordered the unusual measure, which he characterized as "a new form of alternative dispute resolution," after the two Tampa attorneys had proven unable to agree upon where to hold a deposition, even though both of their offices are just four floors away in the very same building in Tampa.

Season III is on my friends. It has been an incredible week of RPS with so many great throws and matches. Here is how we stand:

Shigeki-San is en fuego again this season. We don’t know what it is about him but his throws are almost unstoppable. He is on a quest and looks like he can’t be stopped.

Jerkstore, the man from the frog gang is representing at number two. He has some skills and looks to be a contender this season.

Madcow is not one to rest on his laurels and is holding strong this season at number three. With a quick vacation to Disneyworld to celebrate his season two victory madcow is back in action.

Sternin Sucks comes in this week at number four. Not sure about all the hostility towards Cory or whether that is good for your RPS game but it seems to be working for this guy.

Smoot1 a team of destruction has blazed their way ot the number 5 seat this week. Smoot1 is a force to be reckoned with in live RPS. We are anxious to see the team charge to the top this season.

News:

The Season II analysis is in. Check out the graph of the last few hours of Rock Paper Scissors Action. Great charge to the top by Wayne, Gregt, and James. Impressive RPS skills.

T Shirts - Look good off the battlefield in a cool RPS Super Challenge T Shirt. Check out the RPS Super Challenge Superstore your source for everything from RPS Boxers, mouse pads, beer mugs, and stamps...

Throw combos of the week. Got a secret combination that you are proud of and want to teach the world. Send us your tips, tactics, and articles. If they make the grade we will publish them on RPS Super Challenge.com. Bring the knowledge…

Season III is off to a blazing start. Keep up the great RPS and motivation. Remember in rock paper scissors like in war there is no prize for the runner-up. Have a great week warriors.

What a glorious Season it was. Lots of new faces, lots of new ways to get to the top, and lots of rock paper scissors destruction. This season will go down in the history books as the beginning of world class rock paper scissors being played on the internet. With the addition of tournaments, live matches, and a RPS Dojo RPS Super Challenge and it’s warriors are on the way to greatness.

Hats off to the mighty Madcow who annihilated the competition and secured his place in rock paper scissors history. Here is how the Season Panned out:

Madcow totally dominated the competition with an original combination of rock paper and scissors. New to the game in Season II Madcow set a pace of destruction in his first few games and never looked back. He thrashed both seasoned veterans and all the fresh meat the world could muster. Madcow has established himself as a force to be reckoned with in the world rock paper scissors scene.

Shigeki-San the Season I Champion once again brought it in Season II. He sharpened his skills and his strategy this season but could not take down the mighty madcow. Shigeki is quickly becoming an elder wiseman of the game with over 2200 rock paper scissors battles to his credit. We expect to see him stay strong in Season III and fight even harder for his spot at the top.

Gregt with unwavering dedication and a blitzkrieg style of RPS charged from the depths all the way to the number 3 spot in one weekend. Rumor has it he became an RPS animal and didn’t eat, sleep, shave, or leave his command post for days on end in his quest for the top. Although his chair and keyboard are worn out, his desire to be a contender will make him a force in Season III.

James the boy genius has proven once again that his skills aren’t limited programs. His consistency and chivalrous style of RPS throws off the unwary opponent and before they know it they are one of his statistics. James balances crazy creations on RPS Super Challenge.com with pure domination of the sport. Look for him at the top again next season.

Martian stepped it up this season in a big way and finished strong at number three. Although he leans a little towards paper his run and gun style of RPS is a worthy challenge to any foe. He planted himself in the top early on and never let go. We expect there are more great things to come from the martian in the following seasons.

Wayne the mighty waynsta brought his a game this season and finished out at number six He blazed through the open challenges early on and spent some time at number one. As wayne grows, his skills grow, as does his potential for world rock paper scissors domination.

Dano’s Revenge once again showed he has some skills by finishing the season at number seven. Many late nights and early mornings in the bar and on the battlefield kept dano at the top. He created dano-fu, he is dano-fu, hats off to you dano.

RPSRape brought it his season with a scary name, scary picture, and scary style of play. Do not take him lightly, he can see gambits and adapt on the fly to many styles of the game.

Joshman brought it in by finishing at number nine. There was alot of moving and shaking in the top ten at the end of the season and joshman kept his cool and maintained his spot.

Smoot1 finishing at number ten is a new sheriff in town in the world of rock paper scissors. Smoot rattles off almost 600 games in 24 hours to secure his spot at the top. The force is strong in this one, very strong.

Trash Talk
Some solid trash talk this season by all. Below are some of our favorites. Got a favortite? Send it to us and see if you have what it takes to be the next trash talker idol.

i have been a deep meditative state and have come to the conclusion that you will lose...

your skills are like warm beer...

i feel a disturbance in my bowels..

Welcome to Season II my friends. It looks like everyone is getting settled in, and motivated to have this be their season of glory. Season II has gotten off to a great start with a lot of new faces kicking butt and taking names. Here is how we stand:
This weeks top 10:

Martian - With a somewhat philosophical approach to the game martian has fought his way to the top. He saw his chance a the beginning of the new season and has been on a crusade of destruction.

Joshman - Another new face at the top for season II, only a few points out of first his desire, dedication, and discipline prove him to be a worthy foe.

Shigeki-San - He is back in business, while his season II stats may have gotten off to a rough start his overall percentage makes us all wonder if he is a mere mortal or an RPS legend reincarnated.

Wayne - This guy means business. He called his shot, and marched to the top. He has slipped a little as of late but some think that is a good thing because it is finals season.

Danos Revenge - This guy is here for business. He charged up teh rankings in season I and hasn’t looked back in season II. His dedication to the game sets him apart. Go Dano go!!

Roenn Jewdas - Sly, and stealthy roenn shows no mercy in his quest for greatness. The consistency of his trash talk and his throws sets him apart.

Therew - Looks like a carrot and throws like an ancient samurai warrior, therew is here to stay.

Coachhaygood - Another steadfast rps warrior, the coach made a relentless charge at the end of season I and has followed it up with a complete domination of season II. Get some coach.

Madcow - Like a disease the madcow has infected the top 10. Showing that honesty pays big dividends the madcow proclaims that 50% of the time you will be victorious. Interesting technique from a promising warrior.

Grandma Flo - Like a true elder of the game the grandma proclaims the legend of the three. Pure talent, genius, and respect for the game is what will make the grandma a force to be reckoned with.

Trash talk of the week:
Short sweet and to the point this weeks trash talk "Remember rule 117, play like a champion." No need to be wordy or foul, a straight up proclamation of greatness.
News:

RPS Super Challenge T Shirts!!! Want to be like the mighty shigeki-san and show your rock paper scissors greatness to the world? Buy one of our cool RPS

In your profile you will notice a message center where you can send and receive messages to everyone in RPS Super Challenge. Trash talk to the 10th power. Thanks james.

Tip of the Week:
Points, points, points. Some take hours pondering their throws and reading opponents. Winning is all about points. If you want more points hit the tournament circuit, or bring in some new players and destroy them. It’s that simple.
Season II is off to a great start. We love the motivation we are seeing out there on the battlefield. Train hard, fight hard, and show no mercy. The only easy d

Check out the Press Release for Season 1:
(PRWEB) May 11, 2006 -- Tragedy, triumph, victory, and defeat is how historians will describe the Inaugural Season on RPS Super Challenge.com . Our hats go off to shigeki-san who totally dominated all challengers. His percentages are consistent and his techniques were like a great wind sweeping through the competition with ease. Congratulations shigeki and enjoy your RPS Super Challenge T-Shirt. Bringing up the #2 spot was the shaolin shadowboxer. His initial charge to the top had people thinking that he was unstoppable but he lacked the throws needed to take down shigeki in the final stretch. Elmer134 brought his A game this season and clawed his way through the ranks to #3. His unconventional approach to the game is what separates him from those he conquers. James balanced creation with domination in his quest for the top. He finished up the season in the #4 spot. James said “I am happy with my performance, it wasn’t easy, a lot of long nights and two broken mice.” but he is satisfied. Marcus kept up the pace of eating thunder and secured his place in rock paper scissors history at #5.
Season Two will bring about unique challenges and ways to conquer the world in rock paper scissors. With the addition of tournaments, live matches, a mobile phone version of RPS Super Challenge.com, and some other secrets the sky is the limit. “We look forward to seeing more international representation, and to the run and gun style RPS we will see in the tournaments.” said Ryan a founding member of RPS Super Challenge.com. Season Two is a chance to stake your claim in rock paper scissors history.
Congratulations to all who stepped into the arena during Season One and committed themselves to greatness. Season Two is underway, Choose Wisely...
This Week in Rock Paper Scissors brought to you by:

1800CHIRO.com- Did you get broken in the ring? Find a local Chiropractor to get you back on track at 1800CHIRO.com

This weeks top 10:

Shigeki-San still holds his top spot, sometimes I feel like I am a broken record, someone take him down. Now.

The Shaolin Shadowboxer does not seem to mind his number two spot. Content with his skills and place in the world the shadowboxer is at peace.

Elmar134 remains a force at number three. From his picture you may think he will falter, I wouldn’t bet on it.

James the master of programming and rock paper scissors moves back up the ladder to number four. It is a heated battle and he is a warrior.

Marcus looks like there is not enough eating thunder and too much krapping lightning, he is heading down the slippery slope.

Pasqual182 the hair and the skills are holding strong at number six.

Roenn Jewdas moves up the ranks and has his eyes on the top spot. In his own words "After discombobulating the competition with his innovative new choice system, Roenn Jewdas finds himself one step closer to the top spot currently held by Shigeki-San. This kid is getting better and better with each throw as evidenced by the recent dethroning of Gregt from the lucky number seven spot. Is Pasqual 182 next? Tune in next week to see if he can stand his ground against the player that is so amazing his name should be Grace."

Gregt had a nice lead to start off this season and continues to hold on in the top 10. His work with the killer bunnies is starting to pay off with some innovative throws and techniques.

The terminator continues to refine his look and his approach to the game. He stays at number 9 by the skin of his teeth.

Dano’s Revenge who is this guy? Like a great storm from the east dano has broken into the ranks and holds a spot at number 10. He

Trash talk of the week:
This week it is a toss up between two eloquent displays of trash talk:
"it’s funny because i’m left handed and your name is patty and well, i guess it really isn’t funny. if pattypost dies, eh, pattypost dies."
"grrr! uh oh, i am showing aggression or maybe i am faking aggression with the hopes you think i am faking aggression when in reality, this aggression is legit. hhhmmm?"
Both are outstanding, like American Idol we will let you decide.
Match of the Week:
Hands down goes to destroyer who destroyed wayne 3-2 with a s,s,s,s,p,s,s,s,s,s,s,p in the desert. Looked like too much scissors for a second but the destroyer showed us why he is a force to be reckoned with.
News:

Season 1 is ending in 5 days, 22 hours, 3 mins, 39 secs. Yes that is right the inaugural season of RPS Super Challenge is coming to a close. The Champions of season 1 will be inducted into the hall of valor Monday at 12:01 PM Pacific Time. The player who holds first place at 11:59:59 AM on Monday 08 May will receive a RPS Super Challenge T- SHirt along with all the fame and fortune associated with being the grand champion in the greatest game on earth.
What that means is that it is time to get into sprint mode. It is do or die time warriors. Have a cup of coffee, red bull, etc.. and kick it into high gear so you get your name into the history books of rock paper scissors. Season 2 kicks off immediately following the close of season 1. Same rules, but you will need to prove that you have what it takes all over again.

Tip of the Week:
Bamboo is strong, stone is weak. How you ask? The answer is quite clear. Bamboo is strong and can flex when it encounters a force stronger than itself. Stone is strong but will break when a force greater stronger than itself is applied. Apply that to yo

A sunny Saturday and a bunch of bars is a great way to spend some well deserved time off after a hard week of Rock Paper Scissors. Time off at the right time is what separates the champions from the has beens. “It is important to work hard and play hard” says the rabbit. The terminator feels that “Rock Paper Scissors takes a lot of hard work and dedication. You have to be able to take a step back and enjoy your off time to stay sharp and focused.” Group events are a great way to size up your competition. Like sitting at a park with a notebook a pub crawl is an opportunity to see your competitors in action and size up their rock paper scissors skills. “I like pub crawls, the eighth bar is where I find my Sunday morning opponents.” from the destroyer.

Stay Classy PB Pub Crawl was started in 2005 by a group of Boston transplants looking to continue their east coast tradition. This year the event was affiliated with the American Cancer Society through its "Relay for Life" program. $5 of every shirt sold was donated directly to the ACS - as well as all proceeds from the auction and donation baskets. The event was sponsored by: Lost Clothing, Monster Energy, Bink Clothing, Talon Surfboards, & VAVI Sports & Social Club.

This weeks top 10:

Shigeki-San is back in the top spot this week with an unprecedented comeback. He dominated the rankings with an almost even RPS percentage of
22%/32%/34%. His consistency and attitude are a force to be reckoned with.

The Shaolin Shadowboxer has taken a slight respite from his world crusade and slips back to number 2. His skills and style remain consistent.

Elmar134 holds strong at number 3. His charge to the top has turned into a long term presence in the winners circle.

Marcus, still eating thunder, still krapping lightning, and slipping down the ranks.

Pasqual182 and his mighty mullet stayed strong but lacked the big moves required to bolster his ranking.

James stays seated at number 6, with the addition of a mobile version of RPS Super Challenge he can be seen in the streets of San Diego making his run

for the top.

Gregt’s beard is directly proportional to his skills.

Roenn Jewdas holds strong at number 8 but his early lead is slipping like a banana peel on a slip and slide. He needs some points to maintain his momentum.

The terminator once again changed his look and his attitude in his quest for greatness. Satisfied with his week, he has his sights set on the top 5.

Out of the ranks came the surprise of the week. coachhaygood has taken it from the gridiron to the battlefield of rps and is moving fast towards the top.

Trash talk of the week:
This weeks trash talk is an amazing display of the power of suggestion. It seems people just can’t throw paper at the man with the fiery tongue.
"when people hear of the name roenn jewdas, thoughts of rps dominance are conjured up. this left handed jewish asian is on the top of his game and thus, if your fight or flight skills are triggered, you best call on the latter. other than rps, roenn jewdas is a skilled backyard wrestler with a degree in psychology. if at anytime you get the privilege of seeing him in action, you will see that this kid is amazing... so amazing in fact that his name should have been grace." roenn jewdas

News:

It is time to go mobile warriors. Now you can beat up on your friends via your cell phone with RPS Mobile. Just open your phone, blackberry, or pda
browsers and type in http://www.rpssuperchallenge.com and you will be taken directly to the arena. Get your mobility on!

We would like to welcome our international warriors beaming in this week from Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Italy, Spain, the United Kingdom, and the
Netherlands. Glad to see you!

RPS Maps are live. Yes my friends james has done it again. Now you can find your friends around the world and beat up on them with our RPS Super
Challenge Maps. Use the maps wisely, be sure to zoom in and find terrain features like forests, rivers, and large industrial centers and use them to choose
your throws. </RPSMaps>Click Here to see the Glorious RPS Map!

Tip of the Week:
Rock Paper Scissors is a game of the hands as well as the mind. When given the tools to influence your opponent you must use them. Rock dominates the zoo,
the animals make it so. Paper is the throw of choice on the beach, for the wind carries it. Scissors runs free like a tumbleweed in the desert. Master the
battlefields and you will master your opponents.
The first week in April will be remembered forever as a week of excitement, development, triumph and tragedy. Remember "The innocent butterfly fluttering his wings may someday spawn the storm to change the world."

With a string of total annilations and a win/loss record that would intimidate the best throws in the world it looks like he has a date with destiny.
Marcus the man who eats thunder continues to hold fast at #4.
Pasqual182 with his mullet primed for battle Pasqual182 came out of the ranks and established himself as a key player in this challenge.
James continues to wow us with his yoda like skills, and holds strong at #6.
Gregt snatched the 7th seat from roenn jewdas with a relentless campaign for the top. His beard is back and so are his skills.
Roenn Jewdas is on the slippery slope but has his heart set on turning the momentum around.
The terminator broke out the blender to welcome in the spring season. He is satisfied with his numbers and is preparing to make a charge for the top.
The surprise warrior of the week is Saxysam87 at number 10. Saxysam87 came from the masses and toppled lydiapidia like a stack of warped go bot pogs.

Trash talk of the week:
Probably the best trash talk in the history of the game, thank you tracym224, that’s all I can say."how you like that bleep bleep????? too bad they don’t have pimp juiced out pickles on here too, cause i would pickle your rock and southern fry it with some bar b que sauce on the side and then my pimp juice would wash your rusty little scissors out on the beach where a big rock rock would fall and crush you from outer space! then a piece of dirty rock newspaper that a homeless bum used to wipe his rock with would come floating along the air and land on top of you where a bird would then rock on it. bling bong wong a waka ding dong waka waka!" - tracym224’s
News:

Match of the Week:
A great example of mind reading and stealth ritu upset the terminator in an unpresedented 3-1 victory after a grueling 15 throws. Ritu used the R,P,R,R,R,S,R,R,R,R,R,R,R,R,S combination to bring down the beast.

That wraps it up for this week in Rock Paper Scissors. Remember "Though the ship in harbor is safe, that is not what the ship was built for". Get your games on and have a great week warriors!

"Rock, paper, scissors has gone professional. In an age when organized dodgeball tournaments have become commonplace and curling is an Olympic sport, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that a game known nearly universally in schoolyards around the world has caught on." - Fox News

This Week in Rock Paper Scissors: Update on the top players.
marcus toppled james and took the top seat with a rampage of throws which no one can figure out, can he keep it up?
james continues to press and hold strong at #2, his intelligence seems to be the key in staying at the top.
elmer134 came out of nowhere last sunday to clinch a top seat by putting together a string of r,r,r,r,s,s,s attacks.
pasqual is consitent and shows no signs of letting up.
gregt holds strong despite the loss of facial hair.
the shaolin shadowboxer is a force to reckon with with his ninja warrior skills. some say he can read minds.

Trash talk of the week: who brought it to who.
"i’ll crumple you like a fat kid eats cake" -shaolin shadow boxer

Updates:
Suggest an arena. We are tallying the votes on the next battle arena. So far the beach has proven a place for paper to triumph. Post or send us yoru suggestions this week.

That wraps it up for this week in Rock Paper Scissors. Remember "though the stone may be strong it is the flexible bamboo who will not break". Throw stong warriors.
